Never in my life have I seen such a fast way to peel a potato.
This video is just over a minute long and you will be amazed. It's going to save me a TON of time.

and ♥ MAKING OUR HOME A HAVEN PODCAST ♥ where we're weaving a bit of joy into every day.
Basketmaster's Weavings is about my passions, much of which revolves around basket weaving. I weave with reed and I love teaching others to weave. Many of the patterns and styles that I show in the blog are geared to the beginning weaver, or even the brand new weaver. If you have been thinking about wanting to learn to weave, then this blog is for you. Throughout the blog and videos I take you step by step through each and every process of weaving. I want you to be successful in weaving the very first time you try. For the intermediate and advanced weaver, my wish is that you take ideas that I show, mix them up a bit, and incorporate them into your own beautiful creations.
Happy Weaving and Baskets of Blessings to all my visitors,

Cute video :) Thanks for sharing it. And dang, doesn't Dawn Wells look good!
Yes, Dawn Wells does look good! I wish I could age so gracefully!
This is a really neat technique, especially if I'm making mashed potatoes. Can't wait to try it!
How cool is that?
Oh wow Nancy, thanks for posting about peeling the potatoes quickly, I'm making potato salad today for hubby's lunch. How cool is that speedy peeling tip?

I'm Impressed! That is a Great Tip!
interesting. I don't have sound on this computer so I may watch it again when I am at a different computer.
interesting... but you have to boil them for 15min first? so boil, then ice...all to peel...all to boil again for mashed potatoes? this seems longer to me??? I don;t mind peeling potatoes...it's the peels that drive me crazy!
I was wondering that too - do you boil until it is fully cooked? Once cooled to slip off the skins, I then have to reheat to mash etc...?
Who knew? What a great idea! TFS!
