and ♥ MAKING OUR HOME A HAVEN PODCAST ♥ where we're weaving a bit of joy into every day.
Basketmaster's Weavings is about my passions, much of which revolves around basket weaving. I weave with reed and I love teaching others to weave. Many of the patterns and styles that I show in the blog are geared to the beginning weaver, or even the brand new weaver. If you have been thinking about wanting to learn to weave, then this blog is for you. Throughout the blog and videos I take you step by step through each and every process of weaving. I want you to be successful in weaving the very first time you try. For the intermediate and advanced weaver, my wish is that you take ideas that I show, mix them up a bit, and incorporate them into your own beautiful creations.
Happy Weaving and Baskets of Blessings to all my visitors,

Where I Buy Basket Weaving Supplies
Hi Friends,
I get asked several times each month where I buy my basket weaving supplies. I have my favorite places, like many of you do as well. Leave a comment and let us know where you shop at and why you like them. It will help our fellow weavers.
Thanks and happy weaving!
Nancy
Ps. My own personal favorites are Gratiot Lake Basketry and Basket Patterns.

I like Arnie's/BasketPatterns.com....they have the best prices and the fastest service I have come across, and almost never anything on back-order.They also have reed sales twice a year - great for stocking up!
Just wanted to say thanks for posting your basket-making videos on YouTube. After watching them I ordered this basket kit (http://basketweaving.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/how%20to%20weave%20a%20plantation%20herb%20basket.html), received it in the mail yestrday, and made it last night! The corners aren't as tight as I would like, and they didn't send any fill for the rim, but with their base and great instructions you gave, I didn't need to stop and check things, I could just make the basket!
Gratiot Lake Basketry is my favorite place to get supplies, too! I live near them...
My daughter gets her supplies from Susanne Moore's N.C. Basket Works http://www.ncbasketworks.com/catalog/index.htm . We are fortunate enough to live near here and Mrs. Moore is always friendly and so willing to help.
