May Your Life Be Like A Basket...Useful...Bountiful...Beautiful...

Basketmaster's Weavings is about my passions, much of which revolves around basket weaving. I weave with reed and I love teaching others to weave. Many of the patterns and styles that I show in the blog are geared to the beginning weaver, or even the brand new weaver. If you have been thinking about wanting to learn to weave, then this blog is for you. Throughout the blog and videos I take you step by step through each and every process of weaving. I want you to be successful in weaving the very first time you try. For the intermediate and advanced weaver, my wish is that you take ideas that I show, mix them up a bit, and incorporate them into your own beautiful creations.

Happy Weaving and Baskets of Blessings to all my visitors,

Nancy

Last Year's April Fool's Day Prank

Those red drinks look yummy, right? They're really JELLO!!!
My son Tim was fooled. The other members of the family saw him take a drink so they knew what was awaiting them in their glasses. Hahaha We all had a great laugh.
Somedays I have to remind myself not to be too serious about life, so the kids were surprised that mommy pulled one over on them.  Do any of you have a great prank I could play on the kids this year?
Blessings,
Nancy

Nancy, Our favorite so far has been the toothpaste that won't come out of the tube! Take a very small piece of saran wrap, unscrew the cap on the toothpaste and place the saran wrap over the opening. Replace the cap and trim off any saran that might be peeking out from under the cap. The kids got Dad good the year they did that to him! Good luck! ~Ann

I had a friend send her kids a letter from the IRS stating that their allowances were now taxable and that they had to pay retro-active tax on all past allowances. LOL
