May Your Life Be Like A Basket...Useful...Bountiful...Beautiful...

Basketmaster's Weavings is about my passions, much of which revolves around basket weaving. I weave with reed and I love teaching others to weave. Many of the patterns and styles that I show in the blog are geared to the beginning weaver, or even the brand new weaver. If you have been thinking about wanting to learn to weave, then this blog is for you. Throughout the blog and videos I take you step by step through each and every process of weaving. I want you to be successful in weaving the very first time you try. For the intermediate and advanced weaver, my wish is that you take ideas that I show, mix them up a bit, and incorporate them into your own beautiful creations.

Happy Weaving and Baskets of Blessings to all my visitors,

Nancy

Blogger Blogspot Question - Bloggers Can You Help Me

Most of the time, not always, but most of the time when I view my blog I see a little wrench and screwdriver everywhere I've placed a gadget (like in the little photo above). How do I get that little wrench to go away? Kind of funny how it comes and goes. Do you see it when you look at my blog?

Thank you in advance!

Nancy

Hi Nancy...only the owner of the blog sees the little tools. It's for you to click on in case you want to make changes.

Nancy, I only see those gadgets when I'm logged in to blogger. I have never seen them on your blog when I view it!

Nancy, only you see the wrenches when you are signed in to your blog. The rest of us don't see it. ~Ann

I've wondered the same thing. I don't see the wrench on your blog but I do see it on mine when I am signed in. Hope that helps! :)

Well thank you so much! Quite honestly, I thought I had tried logging out and looking at my blog and still seeing it from time to time. I'm glad to know that you are not seeing it and thanks for teaching me something!

Nancy

Nancy - I do see what you are talking about. I must be the only one!!! lol

wonder why no one else sees it....it's NOT the little wrench and screwdriver that the blog's owner sees to edit a post....yours is showing up for me as if you had tried to post a photo and instead I see a wrench and screwdriver - on the large side - and when I right click to view image...it's a small image like it would be to edit.
I'm at a loss as to what to tell you.

Nancy - I just had a thought. I only see that wrench / screwdriver in your post 'Blogger Blogspot Question - Bloggers cna you help me'
Your photos show up for me in the other posts - I'm thinking you may have tried to put the gadgets into the post page instead of in your 'elements' page - where it says 'add a gadget'.......is that possible?

Well Nancy I have never seen that on my blog, but now if I do I will know what it means. That is like some of the icons I see on my camera and I don't know what they are.

I even logged out and looked at my blog and I saw that little wrench. I see it all along my sidebar wherever I've added any type of an element, be it a photo, blog list, text etc.
Hmmmm......
I was sure hoping you weren't seeing it. Not that it's bad, just anoying that I don't want it visable on my blog.

Nancy

There have been times when I thought I've logged out only to see I had another page up and not logged out of that page...hope that makes sense.
You did purposely put a picture of the gadget in you blog post, right? I think that's what KKL was saying that she saw.

Nancy at EmbroideryIt.com said...

Yes ;-) I did put up the wrench on purpose as the large pic. at the top of this post.
I'm just talking about the tiny little ones at each sidebar or main column widget.

You may already know this, but just in case...whenever you leave a comment on another blog, and use your google ID, you've basically just logged back into blogger...then if you go and view your blog, it'll be in "editable" mode and you'll see the tool gadgets.

Ahhhh....Just maybe that is the case then. I view my blogs that I follow using the Google "next" button. Just maybe....
Thanks!
Nancy
