Crafty Goodness - Crochet Projects

I'm just showing off a drink coaster, top photo, and a kitchen
scrubbie, bottom photo, that I made. The spiral
scrubbie is a pattern by Judith
Prindle and her free pattern can be located
HERE. The top photo of the drink coaster is just something I created on my own.
What are you weaving or crafting and creating these days?
Blessings,
Nancy

Nancy, I've always wanted to try quilting so got half done with a placemat for practice! That was fun! Also have been practicing making basket liners! Your coaster and scrubbie look really good~
Taking care of my recuperating daughter Rachel. Neat little ditties.

I just finished the potato basket from Lyn Siler's "Basket Book." Boy was it challenging! But it turned out pretty good, I think!
Juliana: I would love to learn how to make basket liners. Are you following a pattern, or do you make your own "from scratch?"
Nancy: I really like your coasters. I can knit, but I've never learned to crochet....Maybe one day!
JR, there are a number of places on the web with instructions for sewing liners, but by far the easiest I found is from a video I found online...just google "how to sew a basket liner without a pattern" and look for the Curbly video Podcast! There are several others that aren't too hard either...when you google, you'll probably find them!
Thanks so much, Juliana! I found the video you mentioned, and I'm going to try to make one on my own!
