You know the one,
Can you hear me now? How about now? Now can you hear me? I want to say, Can you see my blog now? How about now? Now can you see it?
I've had so many helpful comments, and I've been trying so hard here. I first want to say Thank You to all of you who have helped me out or have told me what you are seeing on your computer screens.
If any of you are so inclined to tell me if you can see my blog now I again would appreciate it. If you're tired of me asking, I understand that too. I wish I wasn't having to ask. I've completely changed blog templates with the hopes this will work and all will look fine.
I wish I could give each of you a huge hug for helping me.
Blessings,
Nancy
Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI like this one a lot better, but would it be possible to take all the words out that are on top of your header graphic and your picture over there on the right? So THEY would be the top and all those introductory words and phrases could be placed somewhere else, like on the sidebar?
Cathryn
Nancy...LOL...I do feel for you! Playing around with blogger can be a royal pain! I do agree with Cathryn, that the picture would be best at the very top, as you had it before. I asked my husband about your troubles and he thinks that the various ways people are seeing your blog have more to do with their browsers and/or settings and maybe even their computer resolution settings. As I said, I have always seen your blog just fine!
ReplyDeleteBTW, have you tried "blogger in draft"? That's what I used last time I changed the look of my blog...it's kinda neat! I did have to re-size my main photo though. Hugs to you..I know how frustrating this must be!
Hi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI too understand how frustrating it can be to design a blog page. I really like your header - lots of great color and it grabs you when the page comes up. The way the page comes up now is with the text at the top, header on the left and the second column on the right...it's my humble opinion that your header is lost on the left. The header is also "hidden" under the second column, so it loses some of its 'wow' factor. Would you consider switching the header and the text? That way, your beautiful header is seen as soon as someone opens your page and when their eyes move down the page, they'll see your text. Just my two cents...:)
Don't know if you would want to consider hiring someone, but I used Designer Blogs and they were terrific.
Wishing you all the best!
I'm still not seeing a whole picture. The right side of the picture does not have a frame. Maybe it's designed that way. Doesn't bother me, I can still read what you have to say. Maybe it's my system. Windows XP with an old monitor. It sure can be frustrating though when you can't figure it out.
